On the morning of July 27, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh came to survey the intersection of An Phu, Thu Duc City, and Ho Chi Minh City.

Welcoming the delegation of Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh attended by leaders of Ho Chi Minh City including Secretary of the City Party Committee Nguyen Van Nen, Chairman of the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City Phan Van Mai and leaders of departments, agencies and sectors of the city attended.

Also present this morning was Mr. Luong Minh Phuc, Director of the City Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board.

Here, Mr. Phuc introduced the construction investment project of An Phu intersection, Thu Duc city as one of the key projects of the city's transport industry in the 2021-2025 period.

The Prime Minister proposed implementing the project in the direction of not only solving traffic problems, ensuring technical factors but also paying attention to aesthetics.

The project is expected to help reduce congestion for the route to Cat Lai port (Dong Van Cong street) and traffic in the eastern gateway area, convenient connection with Long Thanh international airport when the airport is completed and put into operation. into mining.

At the same time, step by step complete the transport infrastructure in Thu Duc City in particular and Ho Chi Minh City in general.

The project is expected to be started in October 2022, striving to be completed on the occasion of April 30, 2025, on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the complete liberation of the South and reunification of the country.

On this occasion, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh proposed to implement the An Phu intersection construction project in the direction of not only solving traffic problems, ensuring technical factors but also paying attention to aesthetics. , creating an impressive highlight, worthy of architecture, a symbol of Ho Chi Minh City and Thu Duc City.

This project will have long-term value in the future for hundreds of years, exploiting and developing tourism values and services.

Accordingly, this area needs to do well in planning and exploiting space, including underground space in this prime and valuable area.
