The NAM LY Bridge on the ĐO XUAN HOP main road is officially open - the gateway to Thu Duc City
Located on the Đo Xuan Hop axis, the Nam Ly Bridge over the Rach Chiec River has officially synchronized its main span after six months of resumed construction. This is also one of the key projects in Ho Chi Minh City reinitiated in 2023. The entire project is expected to be completed by September 2024.

The Nam Ly Bridge will be synchronized with Do Xuan Hop Road, enhancing mobility and transportation in the area. Additionally, this project will improve connectivity between Hanoi Highway and the Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh - Dau Giay Expressway, ensuring smoother traffic flow to neighboring areas and reducing congestion.

Progress
The Nam Ly Bridge on Do Xuan Hop Road, Thu Duc City, with an investment capital of 919 billion VND, has officially synchronized one branch after six months of resumed construction, on the afternoon of October 30th.
The contractor poured concrete to cover the final steel beam section, connecting the main span with one branch of the Nam Ly Bridge. This branch was implemented after the project resumed in March this year, while work on the remaining branch is being expedited.
The investor stated that the construction unit will focus on completing items such as the bridge deck, traffic safety system... It is expected that the entire project will be completed by the National Day holiday on September 2nd next year, replacing the narrow and deteriorating Rạch Chiếc Dam Bridge.

The Nam Ly Bridge is a key transportation project in Ho Chi Minh City, measuring 450 meters long and divided into two branches, each 20 meters wide, with the remainder being a 30-37 meter wide access road. The project commenced in 2016 but was halted in March 2019 after reaching approximately 40% completion due to land clearance issues. In March of this year, construction resumed after Thu Duc City essentially completed land compensation and clearance.
Mr. Luong Minh Phuc, Director of the Project Management Board for Investment and Construction of Ho Chi Minh City's transportation works (the investor), mentioned that after 6 months of resuming the project, the overall progress has reached about 60%, with 66% of the allocated total funding disbursed. The unit aims to increase the disbursement rate for this project to over 95% by the end of this year, as requested by the city authorities.
Chairman of the People's Committee of Thu Duc City, Hoang Tung, mentioned that the Nam Ly Bridge is one of the key projects in the area. Once completed, in addition to connecting both banks of the Rach Chiec River, it will contribute to alleviating traffic congestion on Do Xuan Hop Road and help improve the transportation network in the region.

Besides the aforementioned project, recently Thu Duc City has essentially completed land clearance and handover to the investor for the construction of the Tang Long Bridge project, with an investment capital of nearly 700 billion VND. Additionally, projects such as the Ong Nhieu and Ong Bon bridges are also being expedited in terms of land clearance by this locality to restart construction.
